A crucial element of implementing processes and making them stick – especially on a big scale – is to support it with a system. For some people improving process means getting a new system in which might lock in an inefficient way of working. For others the process is great but it erodes due to not enough automation.
So how do you know when you are ready to implement an IT tool to cover the S&OP process?
